My Top 5 Starting Games for Nintendo Switch (Lite)

Nintendo Switch has been launched for more than two years now. Many of you for sure got your chance to explore the rapidly expanding game library that Nintendo eshop offers. However, Nintendo Switch Lite came out this week, and there are many who acquired the console for the first time. So, with the purchase of a new console, a question arises, what games should one purchase with them. Hopefully, this post will serve just fine as a first guide through the extensive library of Switch games.

1

First and foremost, I am sure many of you have heard about the big two of Nintendo Switch. There are many games on Switch that are just must to have; however, you can’t have them all at once, and for the beginning, it’s better to choose one of them. The two games that I am talking about are The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Odyssey. If it was for my personal opinion, I would highly suggest you to acquiring Breath of the Wild before anything else; nevertheless, there isn’t a better one between these two and both of them are worth checking as soon as possible.

The next one in the list is Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Of course, it’s all fun playing massive games like Mario and Zelda lying on your couch, and yet, to achieve the full potential of Nintendo Switch you definitely need one multiplayer game to smash with your friends, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate perfectly serves this purpose.

Now, even though you, assumably, are new to the library of the eshop, the upper mentioned games aren’t exactly new. It might be just me but who really wants to be left behind from the main party. For that very reason, the third game on my list will be The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Of course, the game isn’t out yet, but the launch date isn’t far away either. Thus, it will be just the right decision to preorder the game, meanwhile finishing up the Zelda or smashing your Joy-Cons alongside with your friends.

Given the fact that this list is a starter pack of games for the new owners, it’s getting all too expensive for a newcomer to afford two additional games, and that’s precisely why the last two on this list are entirely free.

Fortnite, there is no way there was someone left ignorant of the hype Fortnite left on the gaming industry, and Nintendo Switch wasn’t left out from this either. But for those who don’t know, Fortnite is a Battle Royal game, which gains a peculiar flavor to it due to the building system and cartoonish art design. Don’t get me wrong, Fortnite is so much more than this, but for now, it’s all you need t know about it. Just download it and try for yourself.

And the last, but not the least is Warframe. For a very long time Warframe was my favorite game, back when it was only available on PC. It has been a long time I ditched it due to specific issues I had with my stationary computer, and when the problem was solved, it was already too late for me to go back. Imagine the joy I felt when I discovered that the game was going to be available on my favorite hand-held device. Warframa is an online MMORPG dungeon-based shooter game about space ninjas. Seriously, how much more badass can it get from here Once again, the game is fully free, so don’t waste your time and money any more than you already have, as you can try it out yourself right now.

This was all for this list. I hope I have been of help and, if you have other suggestions to make, feel free to leave your own list of games below, in the comments section. Than you once again for your attention, and for more on Nintendo Switch, follow NSwitch-Info.
